Middle and high school students fasting during Ramadan will have an option this year to take home a free school meal to eat later.
Students would need to attend school that day and can pick up a take-home meal during their regular lunch period at school. Students can only have one free lunch. They cannot eat at school and take home food.
This service will run from March 3 to 21st. The district is closed March 24 through 28 for spring break and then March 31 for Eid al Fitr.
Dearborn Public Schools offers free breakfast and lunch to all in-person students through the National School Lunch Program provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
