Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin released the following statement regarding a possible threatening note discovered at Fordson High School:
“After a preliminary investigation into this matter, we have no reason to believe that that are any active or ongoing threats to the Fordson High School community. Dearborn Police will continue to investigate and monitor the situation, but we urge parents, students, and the broader community to continue school activities as usual. As always, if any member of the community feels unsafe for any reason, please reach out to a school administrator or the Dearborn Police Department at any time.”
