Department of Mathematics
The Fordson Mathematics Department offers a variety of courses designed to prepare students for a variety of post-high school endeavors. The Integrated Math series is the focal point of our curriculum. Integrated Math 1 – 6 is a six-semester sequence of classes designed to introduce and refine a student’s skills in algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, probability, and logic. Following Integrated Math 6, students seeking additional challenges can enroll in Pre-Calculus and/or AP Calculus, which offer students a college-preparatory approach to advanced mathematics. Students who take AP Calculus may also take the AP Calculus AB Exam and receive college credit for their coursework.
